Q: WHICH SEARCH FIRMS SHOULD RECEIVE MY RESUME?

A: Please email or fax your resume to us. We will develop, at no cost or obligation, a personalized search firm fax phonebook proposal. When we create a personalized proposal from the master database, the SearchFAX™ System prevents repetition of any search firms that have a multi-industry focus. We also consider your position, income, location, and other factors.

Q: WHAT IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE FORMAT?

A: Our clients have typically found the best method is a brief cover letter and a two page resume. There are four cover letter key points which recruiters need to know. We will review these with you.

Q: COMPARED TO MAILING, HOW ECONOMICAL IS SEARCHFAX TM?

A: Transmission charges save about 50¢ per search firm compared to a commercially prepared letter. Your total transmission charges will depend on your decision as to the number of pages and the number of destinations. You decide after we review the proposal with you.

Q: WHY NOT E-MAIL INSTEAD OF FAXING MY RESUME?

A: E-mail addresses for Executive Recruiters are most often for the firm, not the individual. Also, the e-mail receiver must be able to download and open the document (20%+ fail). And most often, if not a plain text format, the formatting has been altered. SearchFAX™ documents are received by the Executive Recruiter in a form identical to the original, and your cover letter is individually addressed. About 30% of our fax numbers are not published.

Q: HOW FAST WILL MY RESUME REACH THE SEARCH FIRMS?

A: Once your documents are received by us, we call you to coordinate transmission time, normally occurring within 24 hours.

Q: DOES SEARCHFAX TM ASSURE CONFIDENTIALITY?

A: All communications are considered confidential because the recruiters and SearchFAX™ must maintain irrefutable reputations for security.

Q: WILL THE FAX TRANSMISSION APPEAR AS IF I PERSONALLY SENT IT?

A: Yes, there is no reference to SearchFAX™ on the received transmission. Your signature will be scanned and imbedded in each transmission, appearing as if you personally signed each cover letter. The impact of this cannot be overstated.

Q: HOW WILL I KNOW THE SEARCH FIRM RECEIVED MY RESUME?

A: In that a fax receives attention similar to a telegram, you should begin to receive phone calls within 24 hours after transmission. Also, SearchFAX™ provides you with a Transmission Send Log listing each person’s name, company name and phone number. We mail this to you immediately after completing your transmission.
